Vitality Healthy Mind forms an additional pillar of the Vitality Healthy Living Programme, establishing psychological well-being alongside physical activity, nutrition and smoking cessation as key factors in an individual’s holistic health and well-being.
Findings from Britain’s Healthiest Workplace highlight that 89% of us could benefit from improved mental well-being. In addition, research shows that physical and mental well-being are closely linked, therefore engaging with these other pillars of the programme can also have a positive impact on an individual’s mental well-being. Vitality Healthy Mind will therefore complement and work alongside the existing Vitality incentives and rewards programme to holistically improve members’ health and well-being and forms part of the solution to the broader challenge of mental health and well-being.
